You don't know how any of this works. It does not happen at the drop of a hat. There is usually significant lag time. Don't forget there are 193 member states and 36 of those are on the voting council. So yeah, it's not going to happen straight away like you think.

There will be some, and it will happen pretty quickly, but at the max, it'll be 400-500 a year, spread out over 7 bases and 2-3 fleets. I don't think it'll be that bad, if it does happen.
...and for less $. The answer is 0. Every 65 year old is one AME away from collecting on the couch. My guy already sees this as a problem and I have a while to go before it's an issue. He says basic med apps are way up.

NB you’re on fire this morning. I read “your great plane debate” comment yesterday and totally agreed with it, but today…. I gotta try your coffee brand. Is it ayahuasca gold?

Let me follow your logic train
1) couldn’t get enough in 4th pillar because “junior” wouldn’t vote for it.
2) now the age increases to 67 and pilots over 65 might have to bid to NBA or be accommodated in some way like a VEOP
3) “Junior” will vote for a concession to accommodate the 65-67 year pilot

Did I get that right or did I miss the collect underpants portion? I hope I’m never bitter enough at the company to wish harm to my fellow pilot’s careers.

I'll throw out the wildcard that NYC765 or NYC330 A goes to almost 10,000

Why? Because I have a grand track record of seat-locking myself on something good (73NA, 320A, 7ERA) when the next AE would have something better that I could have held if I waited one more AE.

(not realistic, but I will laugh my balls off if a pilot junior to me becomes the plug with the next guy 1000s senior)

As if Hartmann is going to let it go to a vote. Aren't you precious.

Tell me you're clueless about ALPA and DALPA processes without telling me you're clueless.

Funny he's been here so long and has no idea about how ANYTHING at this airline works (or the FAA, ICAO, and the world in general). He has to be a troll, right?

Basically all LOA's have to go to a vote at this point.
