Could be an exception, but I bet flying with this fella is a totally benign or even pleasant experience. Most of this cancerous online rhetoric is limited to the keyboard. I've seen some comments online from guys that surprise me after having met them in person.

the junior folks are Nick, they are going to bid the WB A seat you can no longer hold becasue ICAO won't catch up in time with age 67 to save you. Enjoy your life on the NB A side. Or maybe you're one of those cats who is going to NBCSIC for your last 2.5 years. You konw, becasue its in the contract and all.

I for one fully support any pilot at this air line who not only knows, but uses the contract to their advantage to gain $$$ and/or QOL. I'll never judge you for following the PWA. Now those cats that were calling crew scheds directly, that should rile you up Nicki boy.

Relevant to this thread those bidding NBA should consider that they may be seat locked with an avalanch of very senior WBAs falling on top of them next year.

So, with all the added positions in NYC for the A330, are we adding new International service out of NYC for S24? I know every summer the ER shifts to the seasonal destinations and the 330 flies the excess ER routes, and I know we are taking several deliveries this spring, but the last 2 plus this bid have added a lot of A positions. Im hoping TLV comes back soon, but what else is it going to be doing? With so many 330 A additions in NYC, I have a hard time believing this is due to any kind of Asia expansion. Any ideas?

Well for what it's worth, the company and ALPA are going to have to negotiate a settlement to accomodate us. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. But that's a discussion for a different thread.

An avalanche? How many 65 year olds who've been flying International ops for a decade+ are going to want to go to 737 or A320 training and go back to 2-4 leg domestic 12 hour days with 10-14 hour overnights for another 2 years? There will be some, and it will happen pretty quickly, but at the max, it'll be 400-500 a year, spread out over 7 bases and 2-3 fleets. I don't think it'll be that bad, if it does happen.
