That seems to be the case for all NB categories doesn't it? Maybe there is something in the yet to be released TA they are counting on to save their bacon.

It should create movement in the 7ER category no? I mean by that, senior ER pilots bidding the 765.

Sounds like a heavy WB AE for ~April~ as long as the China opening is smooth! Time will tell

They are not selling seats DTW-PVG or SEA-PVG, but they are planned on resuming flights in late March. But still lots of unknowns at this point

This AE is just clean up for Summer 2023. Too late to do any kind of AE that creates tons of movement.

Exactly. And then we’ll have an April one next (maybe March if China comes back quick) and then another one in August for summer 2024.

NB As will be a blood bath or a green bath this summer (depending on your seniority/goals).

I think they’re skittish posting too many As right now because they need to get caught up on Bs and the As are going very junior as is. By end of Summer there will be more than 2,000 Bs that at least have a year on the line, so there’s more slack to have the super junior captains.

Man, I would have given my middle nut to have the opportunity to upgrade in anything at 2-5 years on property. I get it, that life is much better with healthy seniority on the NB fleets, but if you’re not in the top 30%, maybe even 20%, of a category, it’s pretty much an equal amount of suck all the way down to the bottom 20%, and then it gets even worse. I just don’t understand why upgrades are going so junior. Most pilots with 4-5 years here would have a pretty healthy cushion of people junior to them in most NB categories, wouldn’t they?
