Thank you, Sirs. That is definitely something to consider.

On second thought, if I were awarded A330 A in November, is that the aircraft I currently hold? Or not yet, because I haven’t been trained/converted?

Then in 2022 retirements slowly started back up and hiring exploded. In 2023 the retirement wave that I’ve been waiting for my entire career finally kicked in and should last another 7 years (if age 67 doesn’t put in another 2 year delay), then in 2030, retirements come to a virtual stand-still again and movement quits for another half-decade or so.
And yet there are plenty of people worse off. Like the NWA 2000-01 hires that went behind the DAL 2007 hires. Some of those furloughed twice in a few years.

But please, go on...

Anyone know when they update the fleet specific QT student schedules page? They still have August-October on most of the fleets. Thanks!

I believe they have to wait until the instructors bid their November schedules before they can put it on paper...

Yep. I was pretty confused and kept checking the date on the email to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
