Do want to mention I’m extremely thankful for being here and very happy in my current seat (QOL has been greater for me as a newbie than I ever had before at my previous employer), but hope remains to slide left sooner rather than later. May we continue to live in exciting and interesting times. 🥃
If you (or someone) wants to do a moonshot, it’s this AE. The next AE is not just post holiday, but also post 2024 vacation bidding w/conversion. You will see seniority creep up, potentially significantly depending on openings in about a month..

I forget when, but training golden X days are coming soon too which also may drive bidding even more senior.

Training golden days have a 1/1/2024 implementation date.

But since the “1/1” portion of the language isn’t specifically defined, the company may decide they’ll invert the sequence for 2024 and 1/1 really means December 31st.

I agree. I'm waiting to dive in, but want to clear the first few rounds of vacation bidding so that will more than likely have me bidding on next months AE to hopefully have a conversion in Feb/March time frame. I know others in the same boat. We have been waiting for months to clear the holidays and vacation rounds for next year.

We didn't think they would do that..wouldn't doubt that is the case since this company can't seem to automate anything on time.

This exactly for me as well! Worth the extra couple months wait.

Vacation bidding is by your seat status or expected seat as of a certain date - January 31st (7.C.3), whatever you bid in the first round is what you bid for all rounds.

So, in other words, if I get an award on the next (November) with projected training in Feb, conversion in March, I will bid vacation as if I’m going to be in my current seat? Is it training or conversion that has to be after Jan 31st? Thanks, it’s been 8 years since I’ve switched seats.

I believe that’s correct. So in short, you could not only be a 330A, but a 330A with summer vacay😎
