Following up on this after looking at Octobers trips. Zero 1-days and eight 2-days. Lots of 30 hours, Lots of DHing around the system, not sure how that is "better," but I guess someone is getting what they like. Would love to see a bid packet posted with a min % of 1 and 2 days trips.

I noticed this in a few categories. I don’t get it. Both why they are posting vacancies and not filling them.

As someone who just blocked 6:25 in seat 26E I call total BS.
Edit: Has anyone else had issues with DH reservations not staying with the flight? Had 2 occasions where I was in steerage while my FO was in comfort on a deadhead that was part of the bid package. Maybe because it’s a broken trip with a different pairing number?

Thats what I thought. This last one was a pre built rotation with both seats DH’ing. Captain calls out, and trip gets broken up on the A side. FO has had an aisle in comfort for weeks, I get a middle seat in steerage. I’m sure the original captain had a nice seat but it sure as heck didn’t carry over.

Also had a DH that wouldn't let me list. Went to the gate after I landed and the agent couldn't list me either. Pilot assist fixed it somehow. Thankfully it was a fairly empty plane or I'd have had zero chance for a decent seat. System works great...

Absolutely true, though I would note they have a different dynamic in their contract for why A's are going unfilled. Still, that's a "mgmt" problem to fix, and we should NEVER consider fixing that problem here, should it ever arise again (not likely anytime in the foreseeable future, I grant you.)
From my reading, they will require 350hrs in the right seat of UAL and then they go to IQ. Their IOE will also be 100hrs.
