Yes, but in NYC 320/220/737, it doesn't really take that long for an FO to get into the top 10%. Sure, a couple years depending on who's ahead of them, but that's nothing in the grand scheme of things, if someone really lives within daytrip distance of those airports.
Flying 7-8 hour turns during bankers hours is a completely different life than someone who does 5-day trips.

While it’s possible to drop/pickup at a lower %, that takes effort and know-how, and a relatively low number can pull it off at all, much less with consistency.
It’s great for those few who can, just wanted to point out to any NH’s or CJO holders it’s not that simple.
