I don't think it's BS, I think it's marketing, BS is just at the end of the whip. However, it seems like the smaller/frequent bids would cause bids to be spread out more evenly throughout the bases. I'm not really complaining, I'm happy right where I am, it's just crazy that in a base of it's size, they can only muster up a few NB B spots likely designed for newhires and zero A spots. Same can be said for SEA.

It's crazy that they can simply choose not to award stuff they post. This is truly why you want to bid what you want and be dang sure you have % qualifiers in your bid.

Also of note, the comment about how many people are pulling out of training. I can't say I'm surprised that there are lots of people fishing for a bypass, even after repeated notices that they will not bypass. I wouldn't really trust them either.

This is big time. A330B will probably hit 11XXX this time. Also, training would be in November with OE in December. That’ll help junior folks too!
I dont even know why they are making you wait. BS should pick up the phone and personally congratulate you today!

Good luck!

I’m very surprised how few WB B’s are being offered/awarded. I’m not gunning for one, but the Flex saga has sucked me in and now his plight is at the forefront of my consciousness. 🤣🤣🤣

I got a laugh out of that bold printed part of the memo because I am sure a vast majority of the 11.G.7 "issues" stem from pilots merely floating an AE bid in hopes of getting a training bypass. If they get it, great. If they don't, they invoke 11.G.7 and are seat frozen for their last 24 months at Delta. No harm, no foul, to them.

It adds up. I can't believe it didn't get banded up.

When you look at all the other provisions that didn't do anything for the 717, it starts to make sense, but not cents. You can see the boot marks on the backs of the 717. Funny enough, there was even a comment in the AE announcement about how they're seeing "higher than planned turnover," on the 717.

The 717 FO's are usually the ones who had low SSNs, got stuck in ATL or DTW, and live in another Delta base.

You DO understand the reason don't you? Hint: the very same reason the -ER didn't get banned up.

Maybe they are overshooting the A positions hoping to account for those that are fishing for a bypass, but hedging their bet by saying they may not award or delay some of those positions.

That was always going to be the case though.
