Was flying with an FO who was railing about entitled millennials. He got offended—but quiet—when I pointed out that he was, in fact, a millennial. It being a matter of birth year and all.

To the discussion about people moving to WB’s, don’t forget the 330/350 growth in next 18-24 months. It’s pretty decent. On top of retirements in WB A category. There is still going to be a lot of openings for people to bid to and not every senior NB B is chasing the pay scale carrot. QOL triumphs that. Think this forum puts too much energy into every pilot on the next AE bids the same way I do…

My experience has been totally opposite.
Dead zones were great!
Young kids showing up 10 min before push because the coffee shop had a line or telling me they’ve done interior inspection when they didn’t … got old really quick.
To say nothing about “I don’t fly into Atlanta” or “I only do every other walk around” instead of “good morning”!

Good we’re back to fishing!
Anyone else been following this? It will shut down a lot of the east coast to fishing or boating if your vessel is 35+ ft.

That was my point to the poster I replied to. Talking in absolutes when there is no absolute to base it on. We’ve all got have some patience at this point.

it will destroy fishing, vacation industry, boat builders, boat salesmen, seafood availability. The effects all along the coast will be devastating. An example. Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament is held here every year. Winning purse measured in millions. If it’s shut down, athletics in the entire counties schools will suffer. Why? Because they have donated the funds for just about every athletic field and stadium in the county.
