Since when was out of base flying entitled to someone? Help us figure out whose flying is in Boston, RDU, and CVG. I wasn’t under the impression that was someone’s flying…

Anybody have any luck getting a select few days off during initial qual? Looking to bid to new equipment on this next AE, need specifically 2-3 days off for an event. Was wondering if anyone had success getting days off for an event in or if I should just wait until the September AE. Not asking for a large block of time off, just 2-3 days off (as previously stated)

Don’t care. I would also tell NYC pilots to bid elsewhere if they want to fly pacific, Including but not limited to Hawaii.

I just think it’s absurd to bid LA, and expect to get any share of Europe, much less any balance in the name of “fairness”

That’s fair analysis. That’s pretty much what the conclusion was anyways. But nothing is ever set here and a base flying a set trips never sticks. So I would tell someone to not get comfortable with something over don’t bud a specific base because it changes all the time.

look at 765 bids next month. Deadhead to fly ATL-MUC then DH home. Nothing really sticks to anyone here. It’s not even worth getting worked up over.

Just another comm, in a long line of embarrassing comm pieces from C016.

A couple other nuggets I remembered overnight:
- Hiring 200/mo for the reminder of this year, plan is 1600 in 2024, 1300/yr for the rest of the decade. That covers retirements and assumed 4% growth.
- Monthly AEs are working well so far for everyone involved, but don't allow much for flexibility once everything's in place. Don't bid in one AE if you need any days in the associated month off.

4% growth a year for the next 6 years sounds optimistic..
