It's big, honey. Really big. It goes all the way to the White House.

I’m not saying it does. I don’t know how it will play out and who it actually helps or if it even does anything. At the worst for seniority movement I don’t think it will be as big of a deal as people think. Certainly not anything like 60 to 65. Just trying to view it as not a big deal if it does end up happening.

Give ‘em an inch and they’ll take a mile. It’s human nature. In 2 years they’ll be screaming about age 70.

^^^^ This

Mark my words, the day the ink is dry they’ll be saying age 67 is age discrimination. And technically they’re correct; it just proves there is no limiting principle to their argument.

But don’t worry, it’s fair cause “they had it harder than we did” Their preference for equality of outcome vs equality of opportunity would make a hardened socialist blush. Not trying to get political (I’m rather conservative myself), just noticing a deep irony how some hyper-conservatives say “don’t worry, you won’t even notice the age 67 reparations cause you guys have privileged careers. It’s a drop the bucket, and we’re victims so suck it up.”

Hail the new Robin Hoods! Rob from those whose careers could be amazing or could be terrible and give to those who have had terrible careers (including A350 captains making 500k a year of course).

So what's anyone's calculus on 330 vs 350? As a 320 guy I know the 330 is an easier transition, but I've heard the 350 isn't exactly a steep learning curve coming from traditional Airbus. Both seem to have growth plans. 330 has more variety but 350 out of ATL isn't that far behind. I looked at the 330 out of NYC since it would be a bit of a seniority bump but there's enough early reports and late releases to make me shy away as a commuter that would have to go in through LGA most of the time. On the other hand actually staying put and enjoying some good bit of seniority is a great change of pace. Should go without saying... Lucky and grateful to even have these options at this stage and content with simply being above the traditional furlough cutoff with under 2 years on property.

Rumor is that the next AE could be posted by the end of this week…

I wish I bid the 330, it has more destinations, a better bunk, and you’re likely senior to flex.
