WB FO still going pretty senior. Only 3 non-displacements in the 5-digit (10,XXX) range.

Junior NB Captain Aug 22 Hire (~85% overall seniority), barely senior to the Mid-Bid, I think? 122 New Captains who are Post-Covid hires. I still think that will stretch longer over the next year, and definitely over the next 2.

Congrats to all.

That's trending closer to historical norms correct? So you were right! (I think you posted a while back mentioning 80ish % was the "normal" junior A sweet spot)

We didn't have many WB FO vacancies posted this time. That always drives senior awards. I was actually surprised by how Junior it went for the limited awards.

most of the senior pilots already could have had a bid to it. So yeah I think it’s going to keep trending in the 10-11’s soon. But you’re right these last 2 bids had not very many openings or backfills. SEA330 did because of ER displacements, but that finally broke the 10,000 barrier at 10.3

I think things will trend more senior, but not quite to historical “norms.” We won’t really know h til they have run 6 monthly bids, or go back to bigger bids. The fundamentals that make junior NB-A undesirable haven’t changed.

I was surprised by how junior A’s went even on some of the NB. I honestly thought that the Age 67 increase getting more likely to happen soon would get more in the pool.

From a purely anecdotal standpoint, nobody I know outside this forum thinks it's actually happening or tracking it's progress at all.

A's will continue to go junior for the foreseeable future, particularly on the 717 and 220.
