I've found that page to be worthless because it doesn't count conditional and % bids.

Also, I love some of your comments, but dude. You're way to neurotic about the AEs. You're like the prospective pilot that checks his inbox 10x a day hoping for the interview invite.

right I agree but if you screen shot it before the mock, then the take a look at the mock, then a couple days later look at the iCrew page again and see what those numbers suggest after the mock compared to the numbers before the mock. It should be very similar but if you see a couple more pilots than you originally saw then I would bet money you can knock yourself down a couple numbers and get a good idea for the final award. This is for those who are extremely bored and have a lot of time to kill like me!

That's really too much work, and I really don't care that much. I guess my attitude is I bid what I want and get what I get.

Like I said, you're way too worried about the AEs lol. Get some air, man.

But you don't have to put in a "sport bid" to accomplish that? You can simply just look where the junior pilot bid and see if you can hold it. Or check your percentage if that's your thing? I just don't see how this will be a meaningful impact.

No-one is getting 'screwed' if that happens, The senior pilot is exercising his/her right.

I'm where I am going to be for the next decade or so. But I just don't see the downside to posting a mock bid.

I figured one day I’ll get my AE award and then I can get a new hobby then but until that day I gotta keep an eye on this thing haha. To be fair while I’m on trips I don’t even think about it but while I’m at home I look at it waaaaay to much while my wife is working. Maybe I’m jealous of her on her computer all day and I wanna feel important too with “work stuff”

Yeah... God forbid a pilot take advantage of his seniority and 'screw' a junior guy from his rightful seat.

I’m with ya man and the overall benefit to the group vs people who don’t want it makes it worth it. Not everyone going to be happy, but I think the majority will be happy with it.

You’re getting a lot of flak in here and I’m not sure why. I like your posts, seem like a nice guy just engaging in the conversation.

Cheers

Did the last AE final results differ much from the mock bid? I haven't looked myself

Thanks! And likewise, you seem like a cool pilot and I appreciate your posts and positive attitude! I really don’t get bothered, just different opinions. You can tell the next generation vs the older generation and I don’t read much into the older generation because for the majority of my career, God willing, I will be dealing with the new generation which seems much more positive and happier!
