For domestic redeyes it all depends where you're acclimated to also. For me living on the west coast and starting a trip with a redeye that gets in at 5 or 6am east coast time is easy because you're landing at 2-3am body clock time. But a redeye back from Hawaii I don't love because I'm landing at 5-6am body clock time. Same with redeyes to Central America. I imagine redeyes hurt way more for guys acclimated to east coast time. Finishing a trip with a redeye sucks.

Finishing the trip with a red eye does suck, but it also allows you to get the first flight home!

Pretty pumped. Should be a fun season. Can’t get this back, the 320 will be there still in January:)

Your recruiting could use some Tegridy.

I was looking through the mock vs actual results and they seemed pretty similar. Anyone else notice that too? Think the mock award for July will be Tuesday? (6 days after opening)

Hopefully they won’t keep doing mock bids. Just go straight to the award.

Why? What's the downside?

The argument is senior folks seeing someone junior to them get an award and having FOMO so they bid it and knock them out. I don’t see it being a big problem but maybe one or two pilots may get screwed every award from each category.

I think mock bids encourage sport bidding. People throw something they don't really want in just to see if it goes through. Then pull it before the finals. That skews the mock/prelim and makes it useless when enough people start doing that. It also turns the final few days into an auction when some people see what they could have held and go for it, as Flex said above.

What you do is take a screen shot of the new category you want via the iCrew “count senior pilots” option and then after the mock award take a look at that same thing and see how many more/less there are. May give a good idea as to whether or not you could hold something compared to the mock bid. If this makes any sense at all haha. Don’t know how else to word it
