What’s the “BCS”?

FYI…you can’t spell “Citrus” without “UT”

Default Chinese Visa

I was glancing at the Chinese Visa requirements. Anyone care to share recent experience? A quick scan of DeltaNet looks like they want DD214, military history and a bunch of other invasive info. Is it just a fishing expedition to see what they can collect or is that much personal info really required? I don't recall giving that much info previously.

It’s for real. I pushed back against the company, engaged the union, dragged my feet, etc. Pretty much told to get it done, bid off my plane or face some consequences. It’s a State Department issue…and you’re correct, it’s not the same as it was before. I’m getting angry as I type this. This in depth probing should not be a requirement for us as crew members.

So hypothetically speaking, what happens if someone makes a minimal effort to jump through the communist Chinese governments hoops, and the visa is denied?

Apparently in 2020 the US changed their requirements for Chinese crew members acquiring US visas, this ****ed them off and they in return made "reciprocal" changes to their visa process. Seems to me like we wanted to also know if the CCP was sending crews over with military background.

Do all intl WB crews, regardless of jet, require a Chinese visa? Might make some changes to my bid if I have to pull out the 214. As tin foil as that sounds
