The issue as I understand it with Florida is that the markets are all saturated. Which makes carving out enough market share to justify a base exorbitant. With a combined B6/NK that becomes an even more daunting proposition.

I agree with that assessment. My joke was that Delta never knows what it will do and often contradicts itself. I just want to keep my hope alive.

Come on guys. They can't even pull the trigger on BOS, which is a totally obvious choice, but you think they're going to open a Florida base? Yeah all of us FL commuters would love it but let's be real, if it takes flying from ATL (and it will), it ain't happening.

DTW will always have both and ATL will too. I don’t see the 330 going to LAX and probably not SLC either. NYC will need every 330 they can get once the ER phases out. NYC330B will need 800 pilots soon IMO!
Yeah I mean honestly though with all the European destinations from NYC and BOS over next 5-7 years. Something will have to be done like that.

I wonder how much BOS and MCO/ FLM being FA bases weigh in on the convenience of opening them as pilot bases

NYC 737. Almost exactly one year on property.

Generally, much more senior, with a handful of statistical outliers as junior as about a year on property.

If you are a prospective hire, don’t count on the brief period of insane upgrade timing following Covid to be the case for you. We have hired 4500 pilots in the meantime. Upgrade timing simply has to get more senior in a general sense from the past few years.

What’s a more “normal” upgrade time for NB ATL?
