Prepare yourselves… 2023 AEs

Many in this situation do not want to train so close to retirement, but are gambling on getting a free pay bump to stay put for their remaining time. Especially with the new training withdrawal option there is little reason not to try. The gamble is guessing how close to retirement you have to be for the Company to initiate the bypass, and trying to guess which AE posting will be the best bet. If you try to early you'll probably have your bluff called, but if you wait too long the company could go into another AE hiatus and you could miss having a shot with any meaningful time left.

Kind of weird to think about but if the company stays true to their plan then the next AE will be posted two weeks from tomorrow. BS said “mid month postings with results a few days before the end of the month.” So that would be July 14th posting, closing 24th, and results the 26th.
This is a really weird new “normal” if it stays like this! I think I like it but time will tell. I can’t imagine seeing anything bigger than what we just saw in June. Maybe they will skip a month every once in awhile. That’ll make for some larger bids.
