I was! No worries at all - All I need is a AE with 10-20 NYC330Bs and I think I’ll be golden. The dream is very much alive and well!

I can't remember exactly but it was always around 80% system wide for junior captain.. varied a bit base by base obviously (and you would be super junior for a while). Widebody B was also probably around there.

The January 2020 AE that was subsequently cancelled had a junior captain of NYC 717 13425 and a junior WB B of NYC 765 12937.
ATL M88A went to 12341
NYC A220A went to 13165
NYC 73N went to 13394

We had about 14,600 at the time, but someone probably can zero in on a precise number.

I'm aware of where he is.

He was asking about bypass before the AE and wrote that if he wasn't bypassed he would just flunk out of training so they would have to send him back to 73. Lucky for him the new PWA was signed and used the one time get out of jail free card.

Sweet thanks. Do you know what NYC330B was?

Just flunking training is a bit more complex than some realize. You will be pink slipped and have a permanent bust on your FAA record. The FAA might take a greater interest in you than you want. You will also probably then for a period of time be a special interest pilot with a shortened CQ cycle and extra checkrides. It’s not a smart strategy.

Considering this person comments in FB, I don’t find him/her/they/them that smart.

I think everyone gets your point, but there's many stages of training where one could wash out of an AQP program before the final check, and none of them generate a "pink slip". I also don't think the person in question really cares either way. It's all about them.

The one time out of jail card sends your pay back to your old fleet though, making it useless doesn’t it? I guess you can roll the die and see how it goes
