Other takeaways:
-Several of the country code seniority ATL Boeing As chose A350 over B765. So much for 765 becoming the senior fleet.
-Half of the new ATL 350 FOs came from domestic left seat.
-ATL and SEA 330 FO also saw a good share of A to B conversions.

This was a senior AE compared to previous. The release of a large number of seat locks probably drove that.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Not as senior as this one, but much more senior than we’ve seen in the last year. The AEs in the fall should be more representative of seniority on fleets going forward.

Optimizer avoidance technique. Not surprised at all.

Many of the 330A positions were in NYC whereas most of the 350A positions were in the most populated pilot domicile (ATL) and the category with the best trips (LAX). It isn't too surprising that the 350 positions went senior in that case. It also looks like there was a fair amount of bypass fishing that failed. I imagine we'll see some of those positions again as people burn their new get-out-training card. It'll be hard to see a real trend until either a big bid or several months of smaller bids to really shake things out.

Yep I still see the Fall AEs being larger and more junior than this AE! This was a very very small AE to begin with

Training bypass fishing. They'll actually train a 7ERA to 765A since it is quick. If you're trying to force them to bypass, 350A is the way.

If they truly go to monthly (or every other month) AE's then it will take a few of these before we can estimate what our seniority can hold in the future.

I agree. I do like how they posted the projected training on the AE results. Makes sense if it’s only one or two months

Yes, things will be more senior if they continue with smaller bids. As has been stated before though, we have a lot of WB slots to fill in the next year, so there will still be lots of movement.
