It’ll be 79 and 11 months one day! Why have a an age at all? For some it’ll never be good enough. These spoiled ***holes have had an extra 7 years for retirement (once 67 passes). It’s clear that they have zero life outside of flying. It’s disgusting and incredibly sad and I feel so sorry for their families because they know that their dad/mom doesn’t give a crap about them and flying a tube around the sky is more important than them.

I for one would never ever treat my wife and kids like that. I will be retried by 62, end of story. I don’t care if I have to live in a box. These greedy SOBs can fly until they die for all I care. I can’t wait to spend every second with my wife, kids, and grandkids when I retire! I love my job but family comes first. It’s sad that these “67ers” think about money over family but to each their own!

the important thing is that you’ve let us know your decisions are superior to others, and denigrated those who might make other choices.

I’m afraid you’ll stroke out over AEs well before then my friend, if not something else.

Breathe.

Sorry above my rant above. I have been gone a lot lately because of a busy work schedule and it’s hard to think about doing this past 65 years old! I didn’t mean to upset anyone, I just can’t image it in this stage of my life.

In other news, where are these AE results?? It’s been closed for 4 hours now I mean come on!

I’m sorry! I’m just speaking my mind. I will have no problem at all flying with someone who is 65-67. Just my opinion that’s all! It’s nice to get it off my chest on here (trust me, no one I know at home cares about this topic). I’m not trying to create enemies!

We understand what you are saying, and even frustrations. But making broad generalizations about people you don’t know and what their motives are is not the way to do it.

That’s fair! For the record the 67 deal is fine with me. I have no problem flying with folks who want this. This is simply my opinion and a way for me to speak out loud. I’m not trying to upset anyone!

I'm quite sorry that "In Command" isn't a thing anymore.

Just "Elevate".

Was really looking forward to it after a couple of years in the left seat.

There are grey areas.
