There was no emotion in my post whatsoever. "Wrong forum" is just wanting to make sure?

Ya, John Bell is amazing resource to the pilot group. If you all are not using his reserve line simulator or reserve pay calculator, you're missing out. I use the reserve line simulator so much that I just leave it open on my computer all the time lol.

It would seem that Navblue could pretty easily be made to function as an analysis tool. But you got my wheels turning. Someone could probably generate some income by analyzing this data and producing an informative monthly/annual spreadsheet…

Median/Mean/Mode:
Trip length
Sign in
Release
Layover duration
30-hour layovers
Legs per day
Redeyes
ALV
Extra X days
TAFB
Weekday/Weekend Flying

Plus:
Layovers
Category size trends

Maybe Curly should add this to his website…since ALPA certainly doesn’t have time for this while drowning under ACE reports.

Make sure the look alike is wearing new balances. Then you wear something else. They will track the new balances every time.

A Delta guy had made something like that. It was awesome. In addition to sorting current months bid packages you could also put a different percentage in whatever category you wanted and see what you could hold in previous months. Super informative. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to keep it going due to Delta switching up how they post stuff. He was constantly having to rewrite the code and wasn’t able to keep up. I was hoping he was going to find a way to make it worth his while.

100% agree, I've brought that up to the PBS committee on a few occasions. As a person who knows next to nothing about program, it seems like it wouldn't be that hard of an option to add to Navblue. But I'm sure there is some underlying reason it's not added.
