Never leave the key in the sleeve. If you lose it (even in the gym) it screams, "Here's a free key to my room." For some people that may be their thing, you never know.

Overseas: A travel wallet with 1 CC, some local currency (I don't take anything out excpt euros) and a picture of your passport page in case you wind up in a ditch.

Correct. Eurozone only.

But, it's the only currency worth taking out and burning a hole in your (travel) wallet.
