Yep! It’ll be at least 10 years for new hires to hold a wide body spot. Back to normal!

Yep.

It gets complicated with the merger and some pretty disparate hire dates in the SL integration, but for general info, the most junior 99 hire is about 4600, the most senior 2010 hire is 5800, a very small jump to the most senior 2014 Hire at 6100. The most senior 2015 hire is 7100, and most senior 2016 hire is 8000 (or about 50% overall Seniority). It will be a long while still before the WB A wall drops below a post-9/11 hire, much less a post-merger hire. But it once the former happens, the latter won't take long at all.

Personally the DOH/time has only ever mattered as a metric if hiring was consistent for an extended period of time. The seniority number and perhaps a percentage are all we should care about imo.

specifically their hire date was 7/26/22, exactly one year of service on the published closing date. Whoever predicted this new method of AE construction to be the “fix” for newbs going to CA got that one right. Here’s your gold star ⭐️

I count 11 months. Vs the 4 on the last AE.

the junior CA trend does not seem to be reversing, except in ATL.

Just something I noticed, there appears to be a number of 15.5/6k seniority people bidding from SLC to NYC on the 320B. That seems...odd.

Idk about ATL. Only 3 actual NB A positions posted on the AE and most junior ATL A went to a 9800 number.
