What is your zenith?
Is it a money thing or a destination thing or a plane thing?
For those that say "enough is enough", even if you are delayed, you wouldn't have to work very long(coupla/few months) to be where your zenith would have taken you money wise. Especially with pay banding.(Which BTW helps the newer pilots much more than the more senior pilots).(Any college educated pilot could understand and acknowledge this as someone previously said)

If 67 happens, my zenith now happens two years later.
Any college educated pilot can do simple math.

It would be fine if they admitted it, but it’s always something made up about “safety” or “age discrimination”, it’s never “I want to change the rules that have been benefitting me the last 20 years at the exact time that it would be beneficial for me and detrimental to everyone below me.”

I hesitate to do this here, but the thread is already off the rails and it's where the relevant discussion is. Has anyone else noticed that the person who's been doing drive bys against ALPA and age 65 on the Facebook group the last few days is the longest tenured pilot at the company? They've been here 41 years, and have likely been able to hold a "true" widebody Captain spot for the majority of their career.

Well, that was unintelligible. Let's start with the term stovepipe, which I caveated in my explanation. Do you know what that means.?
With that as a basis, please try again.
BTW, nowhere did I say or allude that it wasn't the best for the groups as a whole. But it was bestest for the most junior pilots and insignificant for the senior pilots(as a general rule, not as as a specific case by case basis due to one's choices)
Can you limit your discussion to just the one I was trying to discuss that you said was basically ridiculous and patently false(or something like that)?

You tell Ted to get a better education and then you can’t understand what he said. Funny.

Ok, back on topic with the AE:
According to the weekly update, CR is going to take a snapshot later this week and post a sample award. That ought to stir the pot a bit…
