They can also cover any LAX 330 stuff that pops up with the SLC base. 3-4 destinations and some out of base 6 days.

Another effect of the AIP is that I think 320 goes more senior. Already a nicer cockpit than 737, you at least had better rates for the 738 than 319/320. That goes, plus 321Neo is 75/76 rate and will eventually band reserve rate to it.

It does CUN, OGG seasonally. It will have more than 4 routes sometimes. But HNL might be daily long term once it’s taken off the ER. But those are obviously all 2 pilot.

as said above LAX330 flying and PDX330 will probably get SEA/SLC crews on it I imagine

All HNL right now is heavies. I don’t see that changing with cargo haul we do to HNL as well. HNL generally is where all the airlines send their big metal.

But since this IS the AE thread… anyone care to speculate on how senior 765 AE starts going? I’m guessing it won’t be a new hire airplane anymore and that more people will bid it in anticipation of the new rates if we do have an AE or two before we have a signed TA.

Why do ya'll think that a stagnant fleet will be senior? 330 has and will be getting better flying... the 350 has a different appeal, especially if you want efficient trips... and is growing... so unless ya'll know of some deal to by UAL's -400s, what is the attraction? As to it's getting more senior, yeah it probably will. Any of the bottom feeders on there better get used to being junior for awhile. I think the 330 is gonna go stupid senior though.

And since the 7ER got thrown under the bus in this AIP, that will be more of a new hire airplane than it already is.

“Stupid senior” is probably highly unlikely. Maybe on a bid. I really think if people wanted that seat that senior they could have had it years ago. And the QOL with GS will always triumph a pay rate increase. And the diversity on 330 is not that great. Look at the trips outside of the eastern bases.

Time will tell. The next few bids will be interesting. Who knows how marketing will deploy the airframes either. It's all a crapshoot. I just don't see the attraction of the -400 though. I wish somebody would explain that.

Oh, and GSs are not going to be as plentiful if I understand the AIP correctly.

How can you understand it correctly when we literally have one bullet point about premium pay trips?
