on the flip side, they have been saying that since 2016

when were you hired? They have said that for years and never done it.

I know, I’ve flown a few of them recently. I just didn’t think the aircraft on order were to replace them, I thought they were for growth and we would see a replacement order soon.

Lol, they've been saying that for years now. It's just become hard to believe them after so many empty promises.

I figured by 2024/25 we’d start with the first few going, and the current 330s were mostly growth with a touch of replacement. Guess the “big WB order” will fill in how much is what.

we went from needing 200-250/mo to no hiring because of a small AE. Ignore the AE saying we are still planning to hire 200 a month.

2014 so I’m familiar. I see one of two things happening. They either keep doing small AEs or they start dropping hints that hiring will start to decrease.

It’s true they have been saying smaller, more frequent AEs for years. These numbers and the memo seem to indicate that they are finally going to give it a shot.

i get it, I do. I’m just relaying their stated justification for a smaller AE. Now the forums can debate the “why.”
