“We know many of you were eagerly awaiting an AE announcement today, and that many Delta pilots and their families have been negatively affected by one of the longest intervals between AEs in many years. We incorrectly forecasted the next opportunity for many of you to make a course correction in your work lives and are working hard to get the next AE right. Certain variables including X Y and Z have complicated things and we anticipate releasing the refined AE by 1700 Tuesday next week. Should that deadline become unworkable we will update you promptly. Thanks for all you are doing in this busy summer season!”

I don’t know.
IMHO age 67 doesn’t have anything to do with this AE.
Based on the speed of government, this AE will close and conversions will be completed before AGE 67 gets signed into law, so no reason for this AE to be held up for a potential age 67 that may or may not happened 6-9 months from now.
