They’ve been paying higher than the 320 since the merger. You think it should stay that way? Sounds to me the 73 has been making hay forever and now the 320 breaks even.

There is a huge difference in what it takes to hold each fleet.

You have got to be kidding with this line of 'logic'

Nor should it.

Damn you got burned on this post. Ouch. I love when guys just post random BS and get called out for it. Too much of that happening everywhere these days.

I don’t know about y’all but I for one am glad the AE thread turned into another AIP debate thread. Just can’t get enough of the same back and forth over AIP yeas and nays. Hopefully by this time next week every active thread in the Delta section will be alive with AIP discussion and debate!

But since this IS the AE thread… anyone care to speculate on how senior 765 AE starts going? I’m guessing it won’t be a new hire airplane anymore and that more people will bid it in anticipation of the new rates if we do have an AE or two before we have a signed TA.

Mixed bag. Trip mix on the 765 is limited. No growth. I could see ER guys bailing over due to the short 9 month seat lock.

Pretty accurate. Except, I'm tired of the deadzoners thinking this is all about them. To keep this thread on track, I'm more inclined to bid the 330 over the 350 based on the AIP.

Total piggy back post. This is driving me and my buddies crazy. Im around 40.

My grandfather lost most of his pension at two airlines. My dad lost most or all of his pension at three. (My family is a bad omen into the 90s) I know it isn’t fair. But the childlessness of the out and out fits thrown over not reviving an effective retro A plan is staggering. Any of the dz group isn’t going to get what they were promised from the company in indoc. It sucks. Sorry. Ain’t my fault. I wish it was different.

But *******it, thats life. My grandfather was an idiot with retirement investments and my dad has been pretty sharp. I haven’t seen or heard of a pension and don’t even trust my military retirement as I watch it get chipped away. The intrepid government even is failing at funding stuff. It is what it is. I want cash money now to do with as I please as a free man.

The market is down now, maybe guys have to do something new for a couple years, go teach…if you have social skills. It isn’t like we all shouldn’t have far more saved than most of the dwindling middle class by then, even the dz guys. Sorry it isn’t equal to CA pay with GS.

Bottom line, do it! vote no! Give me a better concise argument worthy of a professional air line captain. Reacting in anger completely ruins all credibility to convince anyone else.

Cheers, fellas!

ETa. Isnt this an AE thread!

You'd have to ask the negotiators about that though. I did, and the answer was far from satisfactory
No, they are getting 18%. Transitioning to pay banding is always going to produce some who make out better than some others.
