Junior NYC 330/765 is typically around 3500. That’s about 2300ish #s from 2014. I think maybe 3-4 more years.

Truth.

There’s only about 1200-1300 WB (350/330/765) As in the whole company. Out of almost 16,000.

A big WB order today is 3-4 years minimum before the airframes even show up.

We still have 350s and 330s coming. And that's before the WB order. Less than 2 years IMO

3-4 years if it's the 787. If it's the A350 or 330NEO certainly could come sooner. We'll know in a few weeks

If this is a bid of actual size (and bodies needed) I really think WBB will be senior, NBA will remain very junior, and the WBA wall will collapse into 2014. Very junior collapse but few want to be junior and bid by percentage. Someone is willing and hits the metric. Not I, me, or myself… but someone likely in the 7-8k range will get it in for the “bottom”.

Call me skeptical, but I don’t see an order yet at the Paris Airshow. It’s not Delta’s style and I hear we are still in talks that are not super advanced.
I could gladly be proven wrong though. Either way they will be announced at some point this year.

I don’t see how we WONT hear a Paris air show order. Bastion is not like previous CEO”s. He wants the headlines. Meanwhile our WB network with 76’s isn’t getting younger and we have range issues in the long haul aspects. A350-1000 and more 330-900’s seem to make sense. Not sure how another fleet type would work. I may eat these words, but it’s already been stated that DL plans an all Airbus WB fleet.

Hot off the press: 350-1000s are a done deal! Announced by Ed himself et al with great fanfare just seven months ago.

What range issues does the ER have? Lol. I seem to be able to fly it pretty nicely on 12.5 hour flights full of paxs and cargo? It’s easily replaced 330s and -400’s on routes quite a bit and some seasonal.

339s and 350s have some range issues on certain routes. I think it’s easier to point out the age of the ER instead of some false rhetoric about its abilities. It’s still a huge flex fleet for the airline on maybe 90%+ of the routes we fly.

I think it’s easier to

He said the ERs are old, and separately there are issues with the long haul stuff. 350s to Oz and South Africa come to mind, along with any summer SLC headed over oceans.
