Anyone know how accurate those iCrew AE “bidders senior to you” numbers are? Do those take in affect percentages, etc.? Thanks!

That might slightly reduce training in the 220 and 717 fleets. Other than that I don't think very many bid between 320 and 737 (the two biggest NB fleets by far) for the miniscule difference between the prevalence of the sub variants. The 320 was brought up to 737-800 pay anyway. The 900 and 321 are such a meaningless difference it probably costs more to keep track of it. The NEO pays more but there's very few of them now and it will take a long time to become the majority of the fleet. By then the MAX will be here and probably similar.

No one bids between the 320 and 737 fleets for pay tables. Blending these wouldn't be a huge training relief anyway IMO.

Truth. Boeing peeps justify the 737 by pay while AB peeps justify the 320 by WB transition. Never the 2 shall meet. I need to look at the awards and see if 320 to 737 or vice versa same seat is even a thing. I suspect not.

We have more than 20 321Neos. I believe we are getting 2-4 a month. By Jan 2024 we will be getting lie-flat seat

Last AE had no posted ATL320 slots. 12 backfills were awarded, of which 4 were 73NA's. I suspect we could see some movement from 737 left seat to 320 on this AE being the first one after the pay banding and then it stabilizes. The same way guys here predict the 350 going junior to the 330, the 73 will go junior to the Airbus from here on out

I've been at American almost 2 years and I've never seen a monthly vacancy bid. They pretty much do 4 of them per year, the minimum in our contract.

I know for a fact I saw 737 to 320 on one of the AE's last year....not a lot, but I did see it.

I know a few B’s that came off the ER and 320 that went to 73B for the better trips…

320 I think has the largest variety of flying for junior pilots. plus if doing the mountain. west flying is your thing it’s the fleet to be on. Regular overnights in BOI, JAC, SLC, BIL, BZN, etc

7ER has the largest variety if you’re in the top 40-50%. Arguably some of the worst if you’re in the bottom 50%. It’s the Florida shuttle.

737 has a similar mix as the 320 except the overnights are better. For instance the 320 flies a lot of places in the Caribbean, but doesn’t overnight there. The 737 overnights more frequently.

71 and 220 have attractive domestic trips but the pay isn’t good compared to the other narrowbody fleets after year 1.

Not true for the NYC 320...only island I've seen in their bid package is a Bermuda turn.

NYC 737 you can go for months and do nothing by SJU / STI / SDQ / PUJ / AUA / NAS
