Wow. Just looked and it's been 6 months since the last posted AE. That's a long time even for Delta. Usually about a quarter apart sometimes as few as 2 months and the longest I recall was about 5 months, during normal times of hiring of course. I have no plans to bid so it is moo for me but we must be running out of excess new hire positions. Hmmm.

I think they are trying to clear all training and start with a clean slate going forward with the new contract. Just my opinion.

According to SH (works in CR) on Skyhub, expect the AE memo to drop on or about June 16th. No, he didn’t say anything about the size or contents. Just the date.

My buddy at American tells me they run an AE every month, and I think that’s what NW did before the merger. Why Delta can’t figure out how to do it is beyond me bait Delta has always been way behind when it comes to internal technology.
You’ve all heard the acronym, DELTA= Does Everything Like The Amish.

Having said that—I’d still rather work at Delta.

I’d also rather work here, but if it’s true AA runs monthly AE’s, that dispels the myth that monthly AE’s are a regional/ULCC thing and our fleet is too complex.
