Now, I keep hearing people say a 335 requires displacements. I don't think that's true. The requirement for displacements is nested under 22.D.11(a), which is the 270 day allowance, whereas the 335 allowance is nested under (b) which simply limits the company to using a 335 bid once per calendar year. 22.I (selecting which half of a 210 bid/which third of a 335 bid you train in) has delayed implementation until Mar 2025. So in theory, the company has three shots at doing a long bid, without displacements, with their choice of when to convert pilots. Those will be the risky bids for pilots.

The length of an AE is in 22.D.4 (150 days), with longer bids allowed in 22.D.11. Neither is in the deferred implementation schedule, so those parts were effective immediately. 365's are a thing of the past.

As you of said, the new default (without any displacements) is 150 days.
So, closing the SEA 7ER base would give them access to the 335, but probably not a 210 unless the rest of the bid was small to achieve the 10% awards level. That doesn’t seem to track with what CR has been saying at base visits.

Have they already grown SEA320 to desired capacity? I was under the impression they'd just backfill ER displacements with 320 slots.
