Is the reason it is predicted to be heavy on the A side simply because we’ve hired thousands of new pilots (all of whom are FOs) and therefore we have an imbalance between the two seats that needs correcting? Or is it some other reason?

Were adding a few dozen additional jets per year, I think the 2023 10K had close to 60 plus 717 reactivations. There’s plenty of growth

I can’t decide if you are trolling or not. You’ve asked this question 3-4 times now, and had it answered with a source every time you’ve asked. Yet you keep at it?
In at least 2 base visits (ATL & DTW), Crew Resources has said 2nd half of June. And also that it will be heavy on the A side.
Of course they can. The only contractural limit is on the last conversion. The timing must to be due to running out of NH spots, but they won’t take anyone off the line for the summer season.

Do you remember when they announced the CS100 was going to open in NYC and LAX and the AE would post in 4 days and then it posted and the A220 opened in NYC and SLC? How about all the times the results would be out by COB tomorrow but actually posted 7 days later? You can ask all you want but until it actually is posted on DeltaNet, NO ONE has any information that actually means anything. It’s all rumors until it’s an actual fact. Relax, deep breaths. It’s been 6months, what’s 0-6 more?

Ask to join the base group who is having the base visit the day before. They approve quickly, someone asked the same question and the point was, they do it that was to avoid other departments joining the pilot bases. Point being, they don't restrict joining the base to only people in that base. I've done that before, joined a base to watch the base visit. It was easy and I left that base group the next day.

Or when they displaced a bunch of pilots from the MD88 and then un-displaced them? Or when they said we're moving to smaller, more frequent bids. iCrew would even allow you to put in the LAX220 bid in for your AE preferences. Nothing really surprises me anymore, but I certainly take everything with a grain of salt.
