Why are you such a snow flake? Do you just comb this site every morning looking for something to be offended about? You're the one crying "ageist" here, so your example of someone who cries racist to everything would be you.

It wasn't "ageism" (not a thing btw) until you guys decided you needed an extra million bucks or so. I'm still waiting to hear how 65 is "ageism" but 67 is not and you guys didn't even make a peep about this issue a couple years ago. And for the record, I called him senile, not old.

But how about that AE? It's gonna be Yuge.

LOLwut?

I don't want it raised and am probably not in the generation you think I am.

In any case, one variable that I'm sure someone knows: how many more positions are available to offer to New Hires?

We all want giant AE's every 15 minutes so we can look on the menu and stuff, but until they run out of positions to offer, they don't *have* to have one unless other categories force it.

Dang! I guess I gotta wait at least 6 months for the next one… I thought AEs were going to become more frequent? This is becoming a historic gap at this point. In the future when there is a big gap between AEs we will be saying “at least it’s not as bad as the 2023 gap” it’s like history in the making at Delta Air Lines

Will they have displacements on this AE so they can make it a 335 day conversion?

I believe the new AE rules take affect starting 1 July if I’m not mistaken looking at the ALPA timeline picture. So theoretically this could still be a 365 in that case?

None of us know for sure right now. But the answer to the question "how many new hire positions remain" provides at least one "no later than" date.

Didn't BS say that there was over 1200 spots for new hires after the last bid? At 200/month, that takes us into July from the last AE.

Mongo
C16 required displacements for a 365 bid.
