My kids…15 and 12 (girl and boy, respectively, are both into collecting and wearing Jordan’s. Whenever my son gets money for birthdays and Christmas, he wants to buy sneakers with them. He has 8 pair right now and wants more. When I was his age, I was lucky to have one pair of sneakers that were in good shape. But then again, I had to walk up hill, in the snow, to school, both ways. He gets to ride the bus. That’s probably why my 1 pair of shoes was always clapped out. 🧐

Slacker. We did't have a cafeteria at school, so I had to walk home, uphill, in the snow, both ways, for lunch as well.

And I was thankful for it.
