I flew the 330-200 a bunch out of SLC to AMS which is not that long of a flight. We were performance limited anytime the temp got into the high eighties. Cargo would start coming off. Once we got into the nineties the people came off. We had flights were the 200 had 60 blocked seats with temps in the high nineties and Brussels as an alternate. Every degree above 95 was critical and we could not make the published departure altitude restrictions. I did not fly the 900 out of there but understand it had issues also as temps approached 100. The AD on the 900 forced a fuel stop.

Well, In the 320 department we are rotating approximately 85 SLIs to the line. That still leaves a combination of 130 SLI, PCP, NSLI and APDs to carry what ever training is still being conducted over the summer months....
I suspect time from indoc to training will grow into September.

Exactly. AND just because training slows down for a couple months doesn’t mean there won’t be an AE this June. It’ll take a good 3-4 months after the AE awards to even start training and half of the AE awards are either short courses or just base transfers so training isn’t a huge factor anyways. It’s all gonna be just fine

I predict a July AE posting, with first training/conversions in Sept.

Dude have you done any digging on these threads, or are you just going to continually take the shortcut and waste our time? Look at this guy's post history.
This is a thread about AEs for people on the property , not for potential new hires to avoid doing research by asking a question that can be found any number of places with a little effort.
Sure, a few folks here will hit me for being too mean. But historically potential candidates put in some legwork and didn't gunk up the delta threads with questions they could easily find with a little searching.
In short, imagine if every potential applicant swinging dick thought their question was important enough to hijack every Delta thread. Put in the work, bro.

I answered the question two pages ago yet people here want to flame the newbie to give themselves APC clout. It’s pathetic.

Please don't choose against Delta because you think everyone here is like these grumpy trolls on APC. It's really not what Delta pilots are anymore.

To cskafan123 and any other prospective pilots reading this, let me apologize on behalf of Giordano. I know that posts like his perpetuate the stereotype of all Delta pilots being DB's, and I admit we still have many of these types, but understand that this isn't the norm. While it seems like everyone here on the internet is that way, in real life, most of the Delta pilots I meet are chill professionals. The guardians of the Old Delta Culture continue to diminish, and in 5-10 years, they will all be retired.
