Good info. I thought we swapped out -300’s for 900’s as soon as spring time started until later in year. In July-Sep seemed like it was always a -900 while other bases without the high temps (like SEA) would run -300’s. Either way - thanks for the info!

I suspect time from indoc to training will grow into September.
Exactly, some folks think the only people doing training are SLI. That is not the case. There will still be other instructors to get a reduced amount of training and CQ done.

Exactly. AND just because training slows down for a couple months doesn’t mean there won’t be an AE this June. It’ll take a good 3-4 months after the AE awards to even start training and half of the AE awards are either short courses or just base transfers so training isn’t a huge factor anyways. It’s all gonna be just fine

It’s sooner than 3-4 months after the AE awards for the first training to start. Typically, 6 weeks or so, depending on where in the month the bid closes, so about half that amount of time.

I predict a July AE posting, with first training/conversions in Sept.

It all sounds so sexy, then you got to talk to me like this…this place definitely has choices.

This is a thread about AEs for people on the property , not for potential new hires to avoid doing research by asking a question that can be found any number of places with a little effort.

Sure, a few folks here will hit me for being too mean. But historically potential candidates put in some legwork and didn't gunk up the delta threads with questions they could easily find with a little searching.

In short, imagine if every potential applicant swinging dick thought their question was important enough to hijack every Delta thread. Put in the work, bro.
Sit down and be quiet! This is so ridiculous.

I answered the question two pages ago yet people here want to flame the newbie to give themselves APC clout. It’s pathetic.

To cskafan123 and any other prospective pilots reading this, let me apologize on behalf of Giordano. I know that posts like his perpetuate the stereotype of all Delta pilots being DB's, and I admit we still have many of these types, but understand that this isn't the norm. While it seems like everyone here on the internet is that way, in real life, most of the Delta pilots I meet are chill professionals. The guardians of the Old Delta Culture continue to diminish, and in 5-10 years, they will all be retired.

Please don't choose against Delta because you think everyone here is like these grumpy trolls on APC. It's really not what Delta pilots are anymore.

Amen to that! 99% of Delta pilots awesome, especially on the Airbus fleets

Base is a bigger variable than fleet. NYC is the best.
