I'm not sure what advantage there would be to that.

There is no advantage. CR just can't put down the crack pipe and this is their last chance for two more hits.

I think the Pay Banding of all WB fleets will impact bidding behavior going forward more than could previously be considered. It will be interesting to watch the seniority levels on the various WB fleets on the next WB bid or two. I suspect the 330/765 will get more senior, while the 350 may actually go more junior. Since they all pay the same, some 350 commuters may want to switch to get the same pay in a base other than ATL/DTW/LAX? Will be an interesting twist to watch.

LAX A350 is about to go junior while SEA 330 and soon SLC 330 go senior.
DTW and ATL will see smaller movement. NYC 330 may actually get bids on the next AE.

This is a very good point. With the banding of the 330 and 765 creating much more top paying FO jobs, the hurdle rate for those FOs to jump to Captain just went significantly higher. Next year if I went to WB FO I'd make the same payrate I'm making now as a 73NA. Pretty wild. I think this TA significantly reduces NH WB FO going forward and significantly increases the chances of NH NB CA, particularly on the 717 and 220

True, they did it last AE, but it went all the way down to six months on 7ER. Don't forget we had the three-week wonders back in FEB. 2 Month NB A awards.

the 350 “may” go junior? With pay banding there is no doubt the 350 will be the junior airplane of the widebodies.

I predict the ATL 765 will be the most senior “widebody” category.
