The CPO, to my knowledge, hasn’t made food available to crews far away from the A Lounge
and
A fair number of our pilot colleagues who aren’t pressed for time will selfishly consume the meals at their leisure in the lounge.
The solution are these new crew meals. I haven’t looked up what month they’re due to start showing up with catering but I expect it’ll be some time. And until then, the selfish will keep stuffing their faces and the quick turn crews will keep delaying.

My favorite thing to do is to park on C/D during a quick turn and walk over to the A Lounge to get the quick-turn meal. But inevitably, it seems when I walk into the lounge there are half a dozen pilots casually sitting around munching on the quick turn meals and the fridge is often empty now days. So, I make my way out of the lounge and upstairs and dive into a long line for food. Then, with sustenance in hand, I walk back to C/D and start the preflight process. A 50 minute turn now becomes a late departure and the delay rolls further into the day.

self·ish
adjective
adjective: selfish
(of a person, action, or motive) lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure.
"I joined them for selfish reasons"
You are lacking consideration for those you describe as "casually sitting around munching on the quick turn meals" and only care about yourself and your quick turn. That's the very definition of selfish.
Did you consider that just maybe those pilots "casually sitting around munching on the quick turn meals" also have a quick turn, but were close enough to the lounge and said, "hell with it, I'm gonna get off the plane for a few minutes and eat it here". Or maybe they planned to buy a meal, and like every day, got in a long line for overpriced food and found the uncaring and unmotivated workers dragging their feet, so the line wasn't moving and they realized there wasn't going to be time, so they just went back downstairs and had a meal. The point is, you don't know. you're making assumptions because, in reality, you're mad that you encountered these same problems, and walked all the way to A, but found some pilots beat you to that coveted "Chicken Caesar" or tuna fish sandwich. Heaven forbid that the company, which is under no obligation to even provide those courtesy meals, didn't cater enough, or doesn't provide them close enough for you to comfortably walk to get one. Maybe you'll just have to go back to eating chickfila and saying "if it's late, it's late" because they scheduled you for 50 minute turns on a 4 leg day. That's the real problem here.

YMMV, but at the end of a trip I'm bailing early to maintain the integrity of my home life operation. If something happens they will figure it out just like if I had a tight turn.

What's our rule anymore? If it's an email are we suppose to care? A lot of companies put out emails like that and never incorporate the text into a book so they can have it both ways. It makes them feel smart but it never holds up in a meeting with HR if you get called to the office because a wheel chair pax got tossed by a bad straightback roller. You're gonna have pilots using both directions to cause maximum damage to the operation.
Just pick a way of doing things and keep doing it. I leave early and often.
