I’ll second this..the Bose is very nice for this. I find there is more noise towards the window and the ear bud off on the inside isn’t as bad regarding noise. And when you do get someone who keeps the headset on all flight it’s even better!
I’m not sure why so many Pilots hate their hearing and feel it’s a need to ruin it before it get them…?

I leave my DC x2 on most of the flight but brief feel free to take yours off above 180, Really does seem amazing that there is no hot mike on these jets, as a former 320 guy in recovery…
It’s not a loud cockpit but…cranking up your speaker and the wind noise from the widow area is a fatigue producer and I can’t imagine long term how it’s not bad for your hearing.

You guys are bidding an airplane based on an intercom?? Weird decisions. I prefer to look at the QOL, pay and trips when I’m bidding. Who cares about the airplane technology.
