probably closer to 80% commute.

im not a fan of a COLA. Our payscales are our payscales and they should not apply differently depending on the base.

If they made more than a single digit % of the trips commutable they would probably get more takers. Based on the bid packages I saw I would not commute to NYC320A for $500/hour. I would, however, do it under current rates if I thought I could spend less than 3 nights in NY commuting. (Ie more commutable trips)

what a concept. But it’s much more fun for them to make short, uncommutable trips in commuter heavy bases. And on the flip side load up bases with lots of locals like MSP with 5 day trips.

Commutable trips would solve 90% of the issues with NYC.

This really hasn’t aged well.

The last week has seen 30 or more cancels daily for crew (or lack thereof).

Hiring full bore probably has to continue for a bit longer.

Im waiting for at least double digest commutable trips before even thinking of leaving the WB. I’m not even asking for like 30% commutable like we had in 2017.
