Yes I find that pretty odd too, but they pretty much to if they want to cover non-pilot base airports. Consider SLC or BOS on the 330 for example, unless they want to build 4 day trips with DHs and hotel costs included they build 6 day trips. Of course they often break them up into 2 four trips with DH and Hotel costs incured so who knows?

Now as far as 6 day trips with mid trip layovers in other Pilot based airports - its just one of life's great mysteries.

Buts lets not give them any ideas about making the min reserve block 6 days.

I’m sure it’s one of those things that looks great on a spreadsheet. Make the ATL crews fly a JFK LHR trip in the middle to bring down credit. Ignore it drives the JFK stuff up doing the same…

I’m not the smartest guy in the world but with the new contract, aren’t we supposed to see more frequent AEs? If the rumors are true, we will have 3 total this year (Jan, June, ?)

That’s good! It just seems odd because looking back they always has a couple AEs early in the year but maybe they are getting caught up… or just planning on a lot of greenies this summer for some of the europe flying

Maybe our global scope isn’t as big of a win as we think it is?

I know you’re being sarcastic….at least a little😉, but this TA has a lot of influence on future planning, and whether one thought it passing was a foregone conclusion, I’m sure all the planners on the 4th floor, have been waiting for more clarity before making any big plans/ changes to plans, and such. I wouldn’t be surprised if things start moving now that Delta has us locked in and committed for the next 4 years, they know how expensive we will be and WRT Global scope, now they can figure out how to keep that agreement satisfied. There will be a few weeks here while new code/ratios/etc. are figured into the Delta DOS computer system with window point and click overlay, and then things will start happening again with some regularity again.

Takes a while to type in all those commands into DOS

Seems like they usually run 1 a quarter then 2 at the EOY 4Q to clean up for summer.
