And yeah I know, GS comes ahead of RR in the ladder, but one thing I wonder is how manning will be adjusted going forward. If the company is willing to pay 150%,200% for a reroute, will they accept that and tighten up the manning in any given category? If they do that, how will GSs be affected? If everybody is flying 18 days/month (for example) will they have enough bodies for GSs? And again, I am wondering if more bodies will be on SC because of the 18 hour LC.

Now we've read it and approved it. Time to see what's really in it.
You understand that when they reroute pilots they still have to cover the flying said pilots were rerouted off of, right?

Mostly true but not always. I have been rerouted out of a 30 hour layover to deadhead to Atlanta to do a turn to go back to my original hotel for min rest and rejoin the rotation.

I read that differently…you’re saying there’s a magical 36mo seat lock imposed on people currently in seats? I say I think that only is imposed after a new bid post-C23 ratification. If someone now decides this next AE to leave 350 for 330, they will then be “stuck” on the 330 for 3 years.

the humanity!!!

I wish I could be stuck on the 330 for 30 years! I would definitely be happy to not ever have to worry about flying anything else!

Actually went back and re-read it. You’re right. I misread that. 36 months for moves in the band this year.

A concession for those going to the highest pay banded aircraft that do so in the next year to have a 36 instead of 24? Sign me up for that concession.
