NB/ER will go unchanged
Agree about the 330 but think many long time ER FOs will chose to upgrade to ERA or if they can hold it - 765. Likewise the senior ERA types will go to 765A.

765 is a stagnant and small fleet that pays the same now as a 350. The only trickle you'll see to 765A wil be to replace retirees. Once pilots have gotten to that seat, more than likely that's where they'll finish.

All the Luddite IIABIAG crowd are finally going to bid the 765 from the ER for that extra couple % with the banding.

I think A slots on the NB will go more senior. Purely a guess but I can’t see it staying this junior

I'm not entirely sold on that. Yes, NB A pay will be great, but then again by next Jan 1, nearly every NB B over 3 years seniority will be over 200/hr, so not a bad life either. I think it'll stay split a little more where guys who can hole good seniority on an A seat will go, and so will the really junior guys for the pay bump. I think the middle of the B pack will mostly stand pat and enjoy the good pay AND good B seniority.

If the trip mix and trip construction actually improve, capt on NB will go more senior

I don't disagree that the 765 is dying, but it is dying less rapidly than the 7ER. The trips are better and hardly any domestic. The 330 will be where the action is and the 350 will become more junior until their layover mix improves.

I think a lot of ER As over 60 who don’t want to learn French will bid the 765. I think that plane will be the most senior WB at the company, if for no reason other than it’s the only WB for the never Airbus crowd.

It will depend on whether or not the PWA has any actual teeth in it to improve reroute assignment, and whether or not there is enough loophole in it for the company to exploit. We won't find out until well into the fall, and I would wager well into next year. I think what will go more senior will be WB FO (except 7ER), and 765/330 Captains.

I agree with this. New widebody FO rates are as high or higher than current NB A rates. We won't know how or if trip construction is going to change for a while...
