Let me guess, you just put in SLC and LAX and didn't read the rest?

Try widening out the distance to greater than 25 miles from the SLC airport. I used 150 miles, but even a 50 mile radius shows 12 commuters.
I dunno I live 8 miles from the airport which would be within 25 miles… but let me guess you know more about me than I do about myself?

I think that tool on the ALPA site is broken. When I used it a few years ago it seemed to be probably accurate. Now I used it for my commute and says 0 in 25 and 9 in 50. A couple years ago was like 30/120.

This seems accurate. over 200 pilots commuting out of PNS to ATL. Commuting here sucks, good things the beaches are great.

Very-soon-to-be PNS commuter here. How often do you find yourself having to make the drive instead?

Done it on one occasion. Being smart with MOB and VPS helps. Even came home via ECP once.

I was VPS once upon a time. I thought PNS was harder but it saved my family nonrev a bunch. ECP is the safety valve imho. A bit of a drive but better than going to Atl.

Start practicing booking jumpseats at 12:00.00.00.00.01 seconds. Any later than that and it’s gone. Set an alarm to remind you. The first flight is your friend and a sleep room is your buddy. Positive space commuting is missed.

This x 10000. Reminders and alarms are essential. If you’re a microsecond late you lost it.

With this next AE potentially being the first one under the new TA, has there ever been unusual trends or occurances with past AE's that come out after a new contract?
