I am pretty sure they were being sarcastic

sorry if I misunderstood. Sounded like you were saying the phase out will begin soon to be complete 2030. Lately they’ve been saying current plan is 2030 to have them and re-evaluate from there. The flex fleet is crucial too with how badly we are staffed in certain fleets month to month. Network is probably having a stroke at trying to fill all these 321neo deliveries on shiny great routes when fleet is so poorly staffed.

There’s still time to apply and get hired at FedEx/ups where you can be a wide body capt (top pay rate) in about 5 years. 777 at fedex and all one rate at ups.

Any idea how long the 765s are supposed to stay? 7ER 2030 re-evaluate is all I’m hearing. But what about the 765s?

Dude, sorry, but I’m in the same position you are and knew what I was getting into when I came here. If you didn’t, then that’s on you. If you did, yet still want to whine and complain about it, apply to
AA. I turned my interview and possible sub 2000 seniority number at AA to come here and retire at number 4100. I knew that. I accepted it, and am thrilled to be here. I planned on retiring as a NB A at 20% in NYC. That’ll do just fine. And after seven months on property, before I’ve completed 7ER B OE, I’ve been awarded ER captain.
You’re correct in that I have no empathy for you. This career is timing and luck. There were 24 year olds in my class. Awesome for them. I’m jealous. But I refuse to let that get in the way of my happiness.
Carry on.

The 767-400s even longer, it’s a newer fleet.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! LUCK= When Preparation Meets Opportunity. With your attitude your “luck” was well deserved. I hope Nantonaku takes note and changes their “the world is out to get me”attitude

I firmly believe as long as you have your health and the ability to work in the United States you’ve hit the lottery.

We become what we think about. If you put out negative it will come back to you…this is so true and I wished I had learned it much younger, that being said
gratitude is a mindset. Good health is everything.
