I would jump all over JFK if it was possible to get there but unless you live in a hub or major focus city you probably can't get there one leg unless you fly into lga and then Uber it. After COVID, frequency to the NYC still hasn't recovered

I am a NWA 2/97 hire and one of my classmates got DTW 350A.

On the ER in NYC I still can’t hold Europe, lots of ACC and BOG though
Fingers crossed for this summer…

Eggggsactly. WB A 350/330/765 + 767-Europe/Pacific/DeepSA is below 4000 seniority. It’s going to take awhile for 2007+ to hold. This is why NYC767A goes jr. For essentially the same money of a 757, you can have a much better life flying the 321/737 in every other base. People will commute for Europe, they won’t for transcons.

I live in CT and drive, left the 320A the flying got bad for me, multiple legs, almost zero trans cons. The ER for me is either a trans con or ACC, BOG etc…
One leg a day what ever that looks like. Hope to get back to my 3 day euro trips….fingers crossed.

Depressing for those of us not hired at 25 and hoping for a WB A spot.

With the new payrates you'll be at the same rate as WB A

Right?! The TA has nothing and it takes longer than 7 years to hold WB A… this place is so bad.

This is not accurate information at all. We are bringing more ERs online this year actually through reactivations. Not sure where you got this information. This is what they said in 2020 not current though. ERs are not being touched for years.

Agree, that’s what I have heard as well. Not going anywhere soon…

7 years? 3,400 was hired in what year? I’ll have a 25 year career here and might NEVER be a WB A as it stands now. Sorry you have no empathy for people with dreams of being a WB skipper some day despite being 15 years deep into this career and having no realistic shot at their dream position.
