What’s the main kicker driving upgrade times so short on the ER? Forever reserve?

Yeah, I’d be shocked but we all expected it really after last couple AE’s

ATL ER flying is horrific, nothing to be excited about in that base with those rotations. That’s why it’s so junior and expected that way. They won’t ever touch any of the rare or good international flying in ATL

I know seniority is everything but you are really okay with working your *** off for the lowest pay scale in the company just so you can maybe swap into a better trip on occasion? I needs to rant. I had my dream scheduled all mapped out and I’m 40%. Just had my hopes and dreams crushed by right seat NB “lifers” and now I want answers lol (kidding but not really)!

Edit: I’m referring to the swap board. First PCS run today got me all messed up

Have you considered being more senior? 9k’s are “NB lifers” ?? The privilege with this one is unreal

True, especially with this TA. I can see why people do it for $$$$ especially if you drive to work. Who cares.

Best thing about the job is there is something for everybody. You want RJ you got RJ (for a hell of a lot of cash), you want Tokyo, you got it!

Heck, you can a get 73 A slot your first AE out of indoc (or AE during indoc as occurred to a 11/21 pilot).
