This x1000. Just break them up into 3/4 days and start or end with a DH.

Those trips are little seeds that grow up to become GS. Some of them mutate into paid positive space 4 days (DH) for commuters. Let them keep showing seeds of green.

I get why they do it, for stuff like BOS with no base, but when you have ATL crews going to JFK, and JFK crews going to SEA, nobody wins. The percent of guys who want long trips is far lower than the number made. Last august they hosed themselves building too many 6s on nyc 765 that close to 1/3 of the list was forced to reserve. By and large people on the WB want the 3 days for Europe. Understand for outstations CVG RDU BOS they need to be 6s, but hitting other crew bases gets old.

this is exactly correct. Of course its usually worse…ATL crews laying over in JFK while JFK crews are laying over in ATL. There isno reason to have international crews laying over at a different base.

Preach it. Love those when I want to get credit fast in a month or build a good line in vacation months post bid, then GS the 4 day broken trips. Don’t ever stop.

Spoke too soon. I hardly ever layo at another base but most 330’trips transit 330 domiciles

Yeah 764 seems to be full of those. Meanwhile we have JFK guys wanting 3 days, and ATL guys wanting the same. 330 has a whopping number of 6-7s that transit other crew bases.

It’s amazing to me that with the min reserve block only being 4 days that they keep building these massive trips. I guess they really do like giving out green slips.
