It was actually GH on Skyhub. He did add that it was pending board approval so likely the board said to hold off/keep negotiating. The Delta Board are good stewards of capital. They want to maximize the return for every dollar spent

a year ago GH said, in the LCA meeting (I was there and heard it)that we were getting 350-1000s, pending board approval.

Rumor or not, seems like a genuine first hand account to me also, who cares? Sooner or later we are going to need at the very least some replacement aircraft so eventually this "rumor" will become fact. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later and additionally hopefully it will entail growth.

Speculation on numbers would be a rumor.
I call BS. This is no different than back at the regionals when management would dangle the carrot of "great things coming... big announcement next month" to keep people engaged and employed there. Never forget where Gumm came from. We have regional schedules and regional airline leadership. "Big WB expansion coming, but for now, keep rowing!"

I'll never understand why so many of you take management's words at face value. Maybe it's the military culture of this airline and you guys still believe your leadership has your best interests in mind. This isn't the military. Corporate America will lie to your face and laugh about it at the golf course. The only people they can't legally lie to is the shareholders.

I'll believe we're getting 350-1000s when I see one take off on 27R in Delta colors.

I call BS on your BS Call. This place has a ton of meaningful differences from "back at the regionals". Not the least of which is, dangling carrots, especially outside section 6, just isn't a thing in nearly the same way as a regional that is constantly trying "to keep people...employed there".

That said, you have a point about taking Mgmt's words at face value and lying to your face. Their motives are not pure. But that doesn't mean they don't, on occasion, actually try to pass on a few good/legitimate words (not rumors ).

woah woah woah. Air Line. And somehow I doubt management honesty is something that sets apart the military from Corporate America.
