If you want to see an A350-1000 just take a look at the end of F concourse in ATL every afternoon when the Virgin A350-1000’s (2 of them!) are in town.

Did anyone not get the memo from our VP of Network saying all international growth would be done via our code share partners, and all Delta would do is feed their hubs from our hubs?

Yeah, he said that 6 years ago, and that’s exactly what he meant.

Yup, we already got them. The virgin board approved the order awhile ago.

BTW DAL controls the virgin board. But shhh, it's a secret.

But Global Scope! We were guaranteed more WB’s. The company was just waiting for an agreement and then we’d get a massive WB order.

Wasn’t the news of AF/KLM about considering what to buy because of Russian airspace

Nah. I heard alpa talk about how global scope was going to fix that.

Im not saying we don’t need an order last year, but we were breaking WBs left and right this summer flying them all over the world. We had(have) 767s in danger of losing their ETOPS. Because they never stopped.

But absolutely, we need an order, yesterday.

The company can violate any agreement they choose to. But the Global Scope Agreement put in place penalties if they choose to do so which did not exist prior. So was it a win? Yes. Save the vitriol.

source on 767’s losing ETOPS? Also planes break all the time. This airline is not one to hope for new airplanes. If anything you’ll get an order for more used airplanes

People have said it on here, and manically we have a few jets that do nothing but ATL-MCO. And I know a few people on the ER that told me about 767s crossing with more MELs than they have ever seen. And have you ridden in our 767-300s recently? They are a little tired.

No one said hope for new jets. But I think we need new jets.
